Boyd County Farm Bureau Promotes National Ag Day and Ag Literacy Week

In honor of National Ag Day and Ag Literacy Week, Boyd County Farm Bureau Vice President Ray Sammons and Office Secretary and Chair of Boyd County Women’s Committee Brenda Dixon visited with Boyd County High School Ag Vocational Instructor Joe Childers, Paul Blazer High School Ag Teacher Madison Stachler, and students to donate garden magazines.
 
To promote National Ag Day and Ag Literacy Week, Boyd County Farm Bureau Secretary Brenda Dixon and Boyd County Farm Bureau Vice President Ray Sammons present Boyd County High School Ag Vocational Instructor Joe Childers with a Garden Ag Magazine.

As such, the fourth-generation farmer has always known she wanted to do something related to agriculture having grown up on a farm that began as a dairy and is now a predominantly cattle and hay operation.
