First Church of Christ Receives Donation from CCFB

Carter County Farm Bureau celebrated Food Check-Out Day by making a donation to local food pantry First Church of Christ. Food Check-Out Day is a national campaign in which many county and state Farm Bureaus participate each year commemorating the calendar day when the average American family will have earned enough income to pay for the entire year's food supply.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.
