Cecilia Valley Elementary School and Hardin County Farm Bureau Celebrate Ag Literacy Week

In celebration of Ag Literacy Week, volunteers around the state will read a book with an agricultural theme to students.  

The Hardin County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee members visited Cecilia Valley Elementary School.   Betty Jaggers presented the book “Right This Very Minute” and Alane Preston read to the students.

With the growing number of self-serve checkout lanes at your favorite shopping venues, I have noticed that many of the supermarket tabloids that used to surround the cash register area have downsized or gone away completely, or maybe they have been placed in less conspicuous areas of the store.
