Wayne County student Morgan Faith Munsey awarded Farm Bureau scholarship
Louisville, KY (July 6, 2018) – Wayne County student Morgan Faith Munsey is the recipient of a $1,000 Young Farmer Scholarship from Kentucky Farm Bureau. In partnership with County Farm Bureaus, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation awarded $465,400 this year to deserving students from across the Commonwealth.
Munsey attends Eastern Kentucky University and is pursuing a degree in agribusiness systems. She resides in Monticello, KY.
Farm Bureau scholarships, offered annually, are awarded to recipients who display the greatest levels of academic excellence, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities and financial need.

Lily Roadcap has called her family’s farm home for her entire life having grown up in this small Shelby County community. As such, the fourth-generation farmer has always known she wanted to do something related to agriculture having grown up on a farm that began as a dairy and is now a predominantly cattle and hay operation.
