Boyd County Presents "The Most Wonderful Dream"

 

Ray Sammons, President of Boyd County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, presents "The Most Wonderful Dream" to Melissa Prater at Boyd County Middle School.

The Boyd County Farm Bureau Board of Directors purchased books called “The Most Wonderful Dream “ by Mitchell Tolle. The books were donated to Melissa Prater for the Boyd County Middle School library and to Karen VanKirk for the Ashland Middle School library. Ray Sammons, President of Boyd County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, presented the books to Melissa Prater at Boyd County Middle School. Alex Young, who is studying to be a teacher, read “The Most Wonderful Dream” book to her students in celebration of Kentucky Ag Literacy Week.

As such, the fourth-generation farmer has always known she wanted to do something related to agriculture having grown up on a farm that began as a dairy and is now a predominantly cattle and hay operation.
