Ky Ag Commissioner James Comer’s recent decision to close the state’s fuel testing lab. That facility completed in 2008 at a cost of $3.1 million was supposed to be self sufficient by attracting other states’ fuel testing business. But, says Comer, audit results show the lab was costing the state $900,000 per year to operate.
