“Buying local” is as popular as ever and is at the heart of Spencer County’s first-ever “Farm to Table Meal” celebration coming up in September. Local extension agent Bryce Roberts says they’ll be featuring a gourmet Italian meal using fruits and vegetables from local farmers’ markets and meats from area producers who’ve gotten into direct sales.
