The Kentucky Association of Food Banks (KAFB) has made an important connection with Farm Credit Mid-America. That well known regional farm lender has made a donation to KAFB’s “farm to food banks” program. KAFB Executive Director Tamara Sandburg says that program not only assists in feeding the hungry but makes use of produce farmers’ “seconds,” which are perfectly nutritious for feeding programs.
