It started over 50 years ago in Lexington as a demonstration for farmers in using electricity on the farm. After some additions and tweaks, it moved to Louisville and became the nation’s largest farm equipment show. Carl King, a UK ag school student back then, now retired from the UK ag college staff, provides a few memories of those early days of the National Farm Machinery Show.
