Kentucky and California are the only two states in the country featuring a full-day annual ag event devoted to alfalfa. UK Forage Specialist, Garry Lacefield, says 34 years ago he was asked to put on a ‘forage meeting’ in Shelby County, and that event has morphed into this year’s 35th annual Ky Alfalfa Conference, Feb 26, at the Cave City Convention Center.
