Over the past ten years the Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) has been quite successful with helping ag entrepreneurs get into value added ag businesses to expand farm income. KCARD’s Larry Snell says they have an 82% effective rate in keeping those new, small businesses growing.
