Posted on Jan 28, 2016A special report with the unofficial “sweet potato queen of Kentucky,” Morgan County extension agent, Sarah Fannin. For about five years now she’s been involved in a project to explore sweet potato production in her region as an alternative to tobacco. It seems to be going well with dozens of growers involved in the region and has led to formation of the East Kentucky Sweet Potato Growers Association.
