A feature report with Dr. Marion Simon at Kentucky State University, about their focus on smaller farmers and efforts with research and outreach to assist them in boosting net farm income. KSU’s “Third Thursday” project, now 16 years old, offers monthly, day-long presentations on production possibilities for small farmers. And that program is now up for a national honor from USDA.
