“ Win with Wood,” is the name of a wood industry competition for youngsters in eastern Kentucky designed to acquaint them and their teachers with the economic potential of timber and the wood product industry. UK forestry associate Bobby Ammerman says the industry provides quite a bit of economic punch for the region and the potential for future jobs for the region’s youth.
