Kentucky has been awarded over $500,000 in USDA grant funds for farmers’ markets and local food promotion programs. Myrisa Christy with the Ky Center for Ag and Rural Development (KCARD) discusses how some of that funding will be used and encourages others to apply for future grants so Kentucky will receive its fair share.
