Some 63,000 students in grades 1-12 in Kentucky will likely be participating in some phase of the 2013 Conservation Writing and Art Contests. Kim Richardson who heads up the Ky Division of Conservation talks about how this competition, one phase of which is now in its 69th year, serves to educate youngsters about the natural resources they must protect.
