Posted on Sep 26, 2012A report on the latest plan to install a Mesonet weather station in Barren County. Kentucky’s State Climatologist, Dr. Stuart Foster, at Western Kentucky University’s Research Foundation, says the system, now with 66 stations statewide, provides high quality, near-real time weather data on a local basis, especially helpful for certain farm chores and very valuable for all citizens when inclement weather pipes up.
