CBOT futures are trading mixed with relatively small changes. Prices have traded on both sides of unchanged during this session. Soybean futures are stronger as more export sales were made to China.
Outside markets are generally supportive with the US dollar weaker and crude oil higher.
Cattle and hog futures are also showing minimal price changes given a lack of news or reason to be bullish ahead of the 3-day weekend.
Consumer Confidence for August came in at a 9-month low today. It dropped to 60.6 from 65.4 in July. Economists expected a 66.0 reading. Inflation expectations also increased.
Investors remain focused on what Fed Chairman Bernanke will say on Friday at the Jackson Hole meeting. European Central Bank President Draghi is not attending the meeting now.
