"Last night Congress passed legislation to provide additional COVID-19 relief for Americans. Kentucky Farm Bureau is pleased to see Congress’ continued support for Kentucky farm families. This legislation provides more direct aid to farmers, reinstates the Paycheck Protection Program, and invests more in rural broadband. Kentucky Farm Bureau will closely monitor this legislation."

After being pressured by COVID news early this morning along with financial markets, CBOT futures rallied to close near the day’s highs. Cattle futures recovered from strongly lower closes related to COVID concerns and closed higher. Lean hog futures closed only slightly higher despite a very strong pork cutout in the morning.
