CBOT futures closed mostly lower with corn and wheat leading the way down. Live cattle ended near steady in nearby contracts to higher in deferred LC contracts. Lean hog futures reversed Tuesday’s losses to close strongly higher even on weakness in the pork cutout.

CBOT futures closed strongly higher and near the upper end of the range. Live cattle closed slightly higher and feeder futures ended mixed with March/April/May posting losses. Lean hog futures closed mostly lower with nearby April LH dropping the most -- $2.375/cwt.

CBOT futures closed mostly lower and near the day’s lows. Spring crop insurance guarantees for corn and soybeans are $4.58 and $11.87 per bushel, respectively. Cattle futures closed lower and mostly in the lower portion of the trading range. Lean hog futures closed higher on strength in cash hog prices and the pork cutout.
