The Murray State University Breathitt Veterinary Center in Hopkinsville recently tested the blood samples and assisted with other testing of Santa’s reindeer.  Director Dr. Debbie Reed talks about the results and confirms that Santa’s reindeer are ready for their worldwide journey on Christmas Eve.

CBOT futures closed sharply higher as traders become  confident the US/China trade deal is for real this time. Cattle futures finished with losses after the market saw sharp gains on Friday. Lean Hog futures closed higher in follow-through buying to Friday’s rally on the US/China trade deal.

A record crowd of more than 2,000 Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) members and guests made their way to Louisville’s Galt House for the organization’s 100th Annual Meeting. This year’s event culminated a year of Centennial Celebrations that took place at various county Farm Bureau’s throughout the state during 2019.  The theme of this year’s meeting was “Stronger Together.”
