CBOT futures closed narrowly mixed ahead of tomorrow’s USDA crop reports. Corn and wheat didn’t see the follow-through to Monday’s bullish price action. Cattle futures closed higher with the biggest move in feeder futures.  Lean Hog futures closed strongly higher, following through on Tuesday’s bullish price reversal.

Corn and wheat rallied sharply, followed by soybeans.  Today’s price action on the charts looks friendly.  Cattle futures closed slightly higher in narrow trading ranges.  Lean Hog futures closed strongly higher today after LH closed as much as $3.00 lower on Monday.

CBOT futures closed narrowly mixed on fairly narrow trading ranges. Cattle futures closed mostly lower under pressure from a weaker boxed beef market and generally overbought futures.  Lean Hog futures fell sharply, with December and February contracts down the $3.00 daily limit.
