After the Black Patch Festival was put on hold for World War II in 1941, it wasn't held again until the early 1970’s.  Roy Gene Rogers talks about the modern day festival that will take place Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7, the events taking place and one of the main reasons behind the festival.

This year’s 56th annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Country Ham Breakfast brought in an astounding bid of $1 million for charity. The Grand Champion Country Ham auction is a Kentucky Farm Bureau state fair tradition dating back to 1964.
