CBOT futures closed a little higher with the MGE spring wheat contract leading the way. Most contracts opened Wednesday evening about even, but futures rallied at various times in today’s trading. Cattle futures closed lower, making for a 3-day decline which started with the bearish price reversal on Monday.

Kentucky Farm Bureau President Mark Haney says more than 400 Kentuckians will be attending the American Farm Bureau meeting January 11 through the 16th. Haney talks with host Alan Watts about the celebration, who will be attending and the contest that Kentuckians will be competing in.
