Nearly 3,000 Kentucky FFA members attended the 91st National FFA Convention last week in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Executive Secretary Matt Chaliff says a number of state FFA members participated in a wide range of national competitions, with several others having a chance to see the big picture of agriculture.

A young Kentuckian took the initiative to raise funds to help feed his fellow man through Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles’ Hunger Initiative.  Tamara Sandberg with the Kentucky Association of Food Banks says Nelson Paul from Bourbon county recently raised $7,000 that he proudly presented to her and Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles.
