In addition to low prices for whole milk and a decrease in demand, some Kentucky Dairy farmers recently received notice that Dean Foods will no longer be purchasing their milk as of June 1st. Henry County Dairy farmer Terry Rowlett, who chairs the Kentucky Farm Bureau Dairy Advisory Committee, discusses the impact of losing family dairy operations and how that will affect the communities they live and work in.
