CBOT futures closed mostly higher with soybean oil leading the market. Cattle futures closed higher with feeders settling up strongly given corn’s weak performance. Lean hog futures closed mostly higher by relatively small amounts.

CBOT futures closed mixed with corn and wheat futures dropping sharply for a second straight day. Cattle futures closed strongly higher with feeder cattle up sharply given the 2-day sell-off in corn futures. Lean hog futures settled strongly higher with the July LH rising sharply to correct Tuesday’s larger loss.
