Mercer County Farm Bureau awards three college scholarships to local students and sends two students to IFAL.

Recognized for the achievements of its Young Farm Program this year, Green County Farm Bureau received the 2017 Gold Star Award of Excellence during Kentucky Farm Bureau’s annual meeting in Louisville.

In an effort to educate children and consumers about the true value of American agriculture,  Kentucky Farm Bureau has successfully used National Ag Day and Kentucky Ag Literacy Week as an opportunity to promote Kentucky Agriculture. 

Green County student, Caton Clark, was among the 12 students selected from across the state to display their agriculture science projects at this week’s Kentucky Farm Bureau annual meeting in Louisville.

Green County high school junior Sarah Hancock recently returned home from Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders. Hancock and 43 other high school students from around the state attended the five-day summer leadership conference, held June 11-15 at Murray State University.
