Harlan County Farm Bureau Celebrates Food Check-Out Week

Harlan County Farm Bureau recognized Food Check-Out Week in Harlan County. Food Check-Out Week celebrates the hard work of the American Farmer and recognizes that America has the safest and most affordable food in the world. President Dustin Miniard, Women’s Chair Lindsey Boggs, Nathan Boggs Generation Bridge Chair, Justin Buck, Harlan County Ag Teacher and 3 FFA Officers, Lucas, Emily and Jace delivered a colorful vegetable basket to Harlan County Judge Executive Dan Mosley to recognize Food Check-Out Week. Judge Mosley signed the Food Check-Out Week Proclamation designating March 3-9, 2024 to be Food Check-Out Week.
Harlan County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee and the FFA Officers handed out Food Check-Out Week materials at the local grocery store. President Miniard said, “We appreciate the hard work of Harlan County and Eastern Kentucky farmers.”
